During the early 90s a particular musical genre emerged from Shibuya, a very very musical district of Tokyo. Called Shibuya Kei, the genre in question fused lounge sounds,Electronics, Brit Pop beats, film music with a very jaunty attitude that winked at the pop culture of the 60s.
With this Mixtape I wanted to remember that particular historical moment and that kind of sound that are now almost forgotten.

This mixtape is intended as a tribute to the career of Assalti Frontali, the longest-running and, in my opinion, brilliant Italian rap group. Always on the piece, an example of coherence and presence on a social level. Anti-authoritarian, anti-racist and with a strong attitude to social solidarity, Assalti Frontali is a crew that, thirty years after its birth, still manages to warm hearts and sensitize listeners on the surrounding reality. After so many years of activity, the charge of energy released by this group led by Militant A remains intact, the narrative remains clear and I am very glad about this.
